2014 Sale Report

Last year was our second on-property yearling bull sale (after 67 years of selling through the paddock). We were delighted with the continued support selling 53 out of the 54 bulls catalogued for an average of $5000 with client feedback telling us they preferred the on-property auction system as it gave them fairer to the bulls.

The on property auction has enabled our clientele to grow so that this year bulls went into areas from North and Central Queensland out to Central Australia as well as down to Victoria and South Australia with bulls also going for stud duties in the highly renown Banquet and Clunie Range programs. The top price bull was Ben Nevis Jethro NBNJ85 a high marbling, easy doing and large framed son of Poss Total Impact who sold to Brett Guest at Clunie Range. Remitall Rachis progeny were highly sought after and averaged $8000 in the sale, while there was a good line up of heifer bulls selling from $3000 to $4500. Two embryo Infinity sons in the sale sold to Peter Attard from Moura averaging$9500.
