As Ben Nevis Angus celebrated 75 years their signature yearling bulls led the way averaging $21,161 at their recent sale topping twice at $40,000, while in the 18 month old section 45 sold to a top of $36,000 and averaged $20,200.
Overall 76 bulls averaged $20,600 with a complete clearance. The equal top price Bulls included Ben Nevis Stormtrooper by Millah Murrah Paratrooper sold to Booroomooka Angus stud with Ben Nevis Scorcher by Beast Mode (one of 5 flush brothers) selling to Hancock Investments both for $40,000 . Ben Nevis Jean N17 put her best foot forward with her five Beast Mode ET calves in the sale selling for an average of $25,000 including the top price bull.
